Shrimp Max of South Bend

I'm new to this area and I think I found my regular spot. I got the shrimp and wing combo with lemon pepper and the wings were sauced with honey bbq. The shrimp were a touch smaller than I would have expected, but they were fried beautifully, cooked to perfection, and well seasoned. The wings are were fried perfectly as well and they were so crispy, tender, and juicy, and I loved the sauce. And they came with a side of hot sauce and extra bbq sauce. I don't know what kind of hot sauce that was, but it was PERFECT with everything. So much so, that i just drizzled the whole thing over everything lol. Also came with fries that were very well seasoned.
What i didn't show here, and i wish i did, was the slice of yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Listen folks, i would 100% blow this place up with all the negativity, if i had any, but let me tell you, i didnt know cake could do that, and I'm a chubby fella that loves his cake! It was so airy, lite, fluffy, and so delicious. And you can tell thay chocolate icing is homemade. It was chocolate but it wasn't too sweet. It was perfect. I figured i was gonna save some for later when i ordered but when i started eating, i blinked, and it was all gone, and i was stuffed 😋

And if all that wasn't enough, the woman that took my order was very beautiful and was all smiles and so friendly and polite. This place is a gem. Im 100% coming back. Probably in a couple hours 🤣 ✌

This right here just straight up ridiculous and pure laziness I never in my life been served fish this way and I know the dude had to see this very disappointing..

Update : they did give me some fresh food the next day so I’m happy overall this still a good place to eat at.

This place has the best Italian beef I've had out here since we moved from the Chicago area 5 years ago. Only comparable one I've found. The chicken tenders are FAT. Only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is that the cheese sauce has zero flavor. I need my cheese fries and that's the first time I've ever had cheese that had nothing to it. Will definitely be returning for more beef sammichs!

Friendly staff, fresh food…. Just make sure you ask for extra lemon pepper if you want ANY lemon pepper!! I wish I would’ve known this in advance

Food is pretty consistent. Closest thing to Chicago style, quality and taste that I've had in South Bend. Only complaint is that sometimes they get the order wrong. Be sure to check.
