I've been standing at the counter for 5 minutes watching a female employee with a capacious, obnoxious, phanny pack. She stood there on the phone texting the entire time. She kept crouching and moving out of my eyeline (attemptedly) to avoid me watching her text on her phone. That just says a lot about the work atmosphere. There were other employees working their butts off while this girl stood there on her phone with lack of self awareness.
This is mostly a review to explain the renovated setup, which has changed after it reopened. This Starbucks no longer has dine in space (which is fine), but there's nowhere to sit and they've hidden the restrooms, so there aren't public restrooms here anymore. Staff seems friendly and mobile order estimates seem accurate. I'd recommend ordering ahead or doing drive through (there's pickup space, but not really waiting/ resting space). This Starbucks is so wonderful, the staff are my favorite part of my morning. They are always so welcoming and kind. Thank you to all of you working here and your dedication to your customers. I own a small business right around the corner and come here almost every morning just to see them and get my drink. I go out of my way to make it to this Starbucks sometimes instead of another I might be close to. Keep up the great work Starbucks team and I’ll see you in the morning.
