A year ago when the lodge opened, they had really good food. This year? The pizza slices are like cardboard, the beef on the nachos was so salty and had a funky taste. For the prices, I feel like they should have better food than that. Not sure what changed between last year and this year with vendors but it went downhill big time. I will not be purchasing food from this café again.

Fantastic food!! I was beyond impressed.!! The cheeseburgers were delicious and so were the chicken tenders.! YUM!! Service overall was great, our order came out quickly! Food quality is very good, not what you would expect at a Zoo. The Lodge building itself was well kept and clean.

The pizza was a delicious lunch break! I wish we had Coca Cola instead of Pepsi. I would highly recommend checking this new restaurant out!

Came in the see the brand new restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Menu is attached, but for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) to get full meals and drinks we spent $50. Food was good, I got the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, an onion ring, and bbq sauce. It was good. Soft drinks are Pepsi, which is my preferred brand, so that was a plus for me. They also put in sliding doors to open the place up in the summer which will be awesome. I love all of the improvement being made to our local zoo.
