Food and service are great! It's a little "hole in the wall" with really kind workers and hearty/comfy food. Thoroughly enjoyed the baked spaghetti and Italian sandwich. Yum!!
Back in the 80s when we were cruising the Wabash wearing argyle socks and ISU preppy sweaters, this was the go-to for a bucket of spaghetti and bread. That's all we ever ordered here. But they have so much more! On a Homecoming visit stopped here for a hot sub, and it was delicious!! The meat was fine, the tomatoes and banana peppers were fresh, but the fresh bread roll was incredible! Some of the best bread I've ever tasted and yet it was served in a clamshell takeaway box. Just wish they would go back to the old bread. The new bread isn't as garlicy and buttery as the old stuff. We used to order extra loafs to have for other meals, and now we dont make it through a full loaf IF we order it from there. Rather just make my own (which negates the purpose of ordering out in the first place.
