We've done take-out a couple times but tonight was our first dine-in experience. The food was excellent as always. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was great. And we got our food so fast. The wait at Applebee's is 3 times as long. A little pricey but totally worth it. Our new favorite spot for date night. Definitely recommend the yak chilli momo.

First time dining here. My dinner was truly excellent, even more delicious than my favorite Nepalese restaurant from my last city! Staff and atmosphere were very pleasant, too. I will definitely return to try more dishes.

I’ve been here 10-20 times with friends and family and every time the food and atmosphere have been excellent. The staff can be.. watchful, and quiet. Definitely not something to turn you away from the amazing food, but something to note for sure.

Love this place. There are a ton of vegetarian options. I recommend the chili momo and the palak paneer. The staff is friendly too. Will definitely be back.

This was a far better restaurant two years back. The quality has declined significantly over the past years.

Not at all recommend this for good sumptuous food! Everything except food was good. Veg momo was a bit better. Imli bomb drink was terrible, even normal water would taste much better. Aloo Katar Tarkari was just oil and no salt, same was the taste with veg fried rice. We tried only veg food. We were extremely disappointed to pay $80 for such disgusting food. And towards the end even the mouth freshener (fennel seed and candy mix) was disgusting. It is as if they put all the salt from the food to the mouth freshener. Please go to any other restaurant except this!!

Great all around!
This has become one of our favorite spots in Terre Haute. It's always a flavor adventure and the servings are perfect for the price. The staff is always friendly and often can help you with your selections. Current favorite, tikka masala lamb.

Absolutely amazing. I haven’t had good Indian food in over a year because the last place have been lamb samosas or something, when I told them I am vegan!
This place has in bold what is vegan! I only wish the Naan was vegan. So, no bread, but the food makes up for it!
I really wish you guys make a vegan bread option!
Food was amazing! I got the Aloo Matar Curry: Extra Hot! 12/10
Vegetable Samosa 11/10
The sauces were so good and fresh! Even the water was good, and they had a lid for it. I have never seen that at a restaurant!
Exceptional service! They don’t bug or bother you! They don’t rush you! I like to take my time and eat!
I just wish I didn’t like three hours away. This place really is a Gem.
And it’s very cheap! They also have a buffet 11am-3pm. I missed it.
And this rating is accuracy, check my others. I’m pretty picky.
Well, here goes. The food on the noon buffet at this restaurant is excellent. BUT! BUT!! BUT!!! The atmosphere?!? We have lived in Terre Haute for over 40 years, so we are familiar with the nearly half a dozen restaurants that have been at the same location as the Kasthamandap Grill. As far as I recall, each of those establishments had great atmosphere --- either tables with decent separation or really nice booths with high-backed seats so you felt you had some privacy. But the Kasthamandap Grill made us feel like we were eating in the waiting room of a Greyhound bus station or an automat in 1950s downtown Chicago. It seemed like everyone at the nearest 2 or 3 tables could hear everything our party was talking about (and vice versa). Put in better seating/tables and booths and you'll be turning customers away!
Love this place!
Beautiful place. I daydream about their food. Highly recommend!
