Pesto's Italian Restaurant

Celebrated my daughter's birthday here today and everything was just fabulous. I highly recommend the vodka chicken pasta. The service was superb and the atmosphere was lovely. This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back in the future.

We had a larger party of 14. Making the reservation was something, Julie was kinda rude on the phone so wasn't sure what experience we would have when we arrived, however, Bethany was our server and let me tell you she was amazing (and pregnant) she puts many other servers we have had at other establishment to shame, our glasses were never empty our food was piping hot the frequency she checked on us , was perfectly timed out. What an amazing experience thank you Pestos and truly know what an asset you have with Bethany

Very enjoyable experience. We had the Pesto Platter which was a great way to introduce ourselves to the restaurant. Only complaint was the calamari was a bit chewy. I got the fettuccine Alfredo; delicious 10/10 my husband got the baked ziti with Italian sausage and he really liked it. Pasta was cooked perfectly. My husband isn’t easily impressed with soup, but he said the potato bacon soup was incredible. Reasonable prices for the portions of food. They were busy but it didn’t take a ridiculous amount of time for the meals to be served very clean atmosphere. Would recommend a reservation if you have a larger group as they are popular (for good reason) Will be going back!

Server was great. The restaurant was a bit loud. The lighting in our area was not good. Has to utilize cell phone light to read menu.

One of the best of Italian food we've ever been served. Geno's restaurant in Des Moines Iowa was about the best ever for 70 years but this was as good as Geno's so kudos to them. Delicious entrees and super nice servers. All dressed in black very nice atmosphere. Prices were very appreciated with the large servings.

We sat for an hour and watched customers that came in after us get their food first, couldn't find the waitress. When we did order she forgot to put in the appetizers so didn't get thoughs, and when we got our food it was cold from setting had no flavor the veal was not cooked and the pasta was crunchy. If you want real food hotel and great tasting don't go hear you need to try Albono's in Valpo.

Amazing atmosphere and food. Everything is high quality and done to order. Wine was amazing, appetizers were fresh and imaginative, and the main courses are to die for. WILL be going back, just as soon as I can roll myself out.

What an amazing place! The food was delicious and the quantity of food for the price is almost unheard of nowadays. Our appetizer came out very quick and the food is right behind that. We did not wait for anything. So many different things to try on the menu that we will definitely be back again. Reservations are definitely recommended. The place fills up very quick.

I would go everyday for lunch if I weren't so busy! I had Kylie as a waitress, she knew what she was doing and was very friendly. I ordered the bruschetta which was very fresh. I prefer extra olive oil and she was more than happy to get me a dish with oil in it. I also ordered the Tortellini Caprese with extra spinach which I added some of the garlic (housemade) dressing to and it made it more fantastic. She was very sweet and I was stuffed when it was time to go!! ♥ this place!!

Went here for the first time Friday night. It was busy, but the staff and food was terrific. Our server Samantha could not have been better, and everyone else seemed just as nice and on top of things. The bread, oil, and pizza were exactly what we were hoping for.
