I went to Steak and Shake, in Valparaiso, and I ordered chili mac. I've had chili mac years ago and it was pretty good. This is what I got. So I called, and they didn't answer for 27 minutes. I let it ring. When he did answer he said it's not really chili, it's a chili sauce and that's our macaroni. I said that's not macaroni it's spaghetti. He said unfortunately that's how we make it. He didn't even say have a good night. Whatever.

Stopped to order a milk shake but they only had kiosk ordering service. So used the restroom and it was the smelliest I’ve been in for quite some time. My feet stuck to the floor. We ordered from the drive thru. Shake and burger were on par with the other Steak and Shakes.

Hotest steak and shake I've ever had . Very clean restaurant
We came to eat and the entire restaurant is soaking wet from the ceiling leaking. They aren’t even trying to clean it up. We had to keep asking for napkins and all the condiments because literally every single thing was empty. Then we got our food and the basket had a about a pound of grease and butter the bun was so soggy so we asked for a remake and the guy cooking was trying to argue saying this is what there sandwiches look like. I would seriously give 0 stars
