The Roost Reviews
As you walk in you are greeted with that small town feel. It has a warm, inviting, and rustic look. You head to the counter to order and pick up your food. And you can sit wherever you want. Plenty of options for small and large groups. Our food came out very fast, in less than 10 minutes. I had barely gotten into my very fresh tasting coffee and my son hardly drank any of his lemonade. My son ordered the biscuits and gravy and I had the Roost Breakfast (biscuits and gravy, waffle...read full review
We stopped at The Roost today needed a quick lunch before getting to daughters house. I had the rooster beef and swiss wife had the maple rosemary. Both sandwiches were panini type. My roost beef was good with a good amount and good quality of meat. Wife thought her sandwich was very good, while a little messy. Only down was a little slow today...
Great restaurant with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food! I highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch wrap. I like to add tomatoes, and it comes cut in half, making it easy to enjoy. The portion is generous—definitely big enough to share. Everything is flavorful and satisfying, and it’s a great spot for a casual meal.

The Roost is a cozy and welcoming restaurant that offers a warm, rustic, small-town atmosphere. It feels like dining at a family dinner table, with Bible verses on the tables adding a friendly touch. The restaurant is a great spot for casual meals, whether for small or large groups, and provides a relaxed environment. The food is flavorful, satisfying, and served quickly, often in less than 10 minutes. Popular dishes include the Roost Breakfast with biscuits and gravy, waffles, and sausage, as well as unique items like the egg waffle, which is scrambled eggs cooked in a waffle iron. The pepper gravy is creamy and flavorful, though some find the biscuits a bit gummy and not very warm. Sandwich options, such as the rooster beef and swiss or the maple rosemary, are well-liked, with generous portions and good quality meat, though service can sometimes be a little slow. The menu features favorites like the chicken bacon ranch wrap, which is highly recommended, especially with added tomatoes, and the Rosemary Chicken waffle taco, praised for its deliciousness. The iced coffees are also a highlight, with flavors that change monthly. Overall, The Roost is praised for its tasty food, friendly atmosphere, and home-cooked feel, making it a lovely addition to the Waky area.
