Food was delicious! We had a softball tourney at the CCAC, planned on going to the Creighton Egg but the wait was too long. I found this place on Google and called to see how long the wait was. We were able to walk right in for brunch. It is a really nice place. The names on the menu made us feel out of place. "Duck fat fries", but everything we ordered was DELICIOUS, including the fries!!! Hoosier Proper offers an outstanding dining experience with delicious food and excellent service in a relaxed environment. The menu features items like duck fat fries, the “Proper Chef” salad with homemade lemon vinaigrette, pickled onions and asparagus, the Powerwagon double, duck and noodles, and linguine with mahi mahi, shrimp and salmon morsels in spicy red sauce. Homemade breads, a delicious bread pudding, and gourmet house made chocolate flourless cake are also available. Everything is beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and filling, with plenty to eat. The burger is juicy and flavorful, and the food quality is exceptional. Great menu and wine selection, with yummy choices from steaks to burgers and specials of the day. Service is prompt and amazing, and the atmosphere is great. Hoosier Proper is easily one of the best restaurants in the area, and a great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner with friends.
