I had a craving for bulgogi and this place made an excellent entree. The sides could have been a little more generous. Did carry out

The food is pretty good for the area. We usually got beef (spicy was amazing and actually spicy), and we enjoyed the sauces. However, every time we paid on the tablet up front, the waiter would quickly skip past the detailed view of our receipt (while obscuring the screen) straight to the tip selection. This was probably to hide the included 18% tip since the tip selections are all normal amounts like 18%, 20%, etc. We never tallied up our total while ordering so didn’t notice this until we got a different waiter who informed us of the policy.

I do not use this phrase lightly, but this was the worst service experience I have encountered.
I grew up frequently dining at Korean BBQ restaurants and typically visit one weekly. After moving to the West Lafayette area, Gaza & Xin Korean BBQ was the only available all-you-can-eat option, so I gave it multiple chances.
Visit #1:
I arrived at 7:45 PM for a posted 9:00 PM closing time. I was told that arriving at that time was “not acceptable” and was refused service, even after offering to accept a shortened dining window.
Visit #2:
I returned at 6:00 PM with friends. After pressing the service button twice within roughly ten minutes (without receiving assistance), an employee identified as Merlin loudly reprimanded us in a way that drew the attention of the entire dining room. The tone was unnecessarily aggressive.
Visit #3:
We specifically requested a different server to avoid further issues. After following the policy of ordering three meats per interval, we questioned the noticeably reduced portion sizes. Our server consulted Merlin, who informed us that we were not permitted to order additional food despite paying for an all-you-can-eat rate. We were told:
“We don’t expect you to eat this much — people eating this much is not normal.”
For an all-you-can-eat establishment, restricting quantity beyond stated policies and making customers feel judged for eating the food they paid for is unacceptable.
I gave this restaurant multiple opportunities, but the repeated offenses discourage me from going back. I am very glad an alternative restaurant is now available in the Lafayette area.

This was my wife's idea to eat here i don't really like this type of food. The food doesn't agree with me unfortunately. Service was great and this place was very clean. They had delicious crab rangoon, unfortunately, that's the only thing they had that I could eat. 02/08/2026

My daughters and I went and had the pan fried dumplings for an appetizer - delicious. We then shared the bulgogi hotpot (divine), the jaeyook spicy pork (yum!) and the crispy honey chicken (wow!). The ambiance was great and the server took amazing care of us. Highly recommend for those with a love for international cuisines looking for your next local place to try.

I went here today and the person tells me I cannot have the unlimited bbq for just 1 person (minimum 2), but I went here many times before on my own. Whatever, I didn’t want to point out that before but based on my experience here before, their service is incredibly slow, coke refills takes forever for them to even notice so I have to wait a very long time in order to have ‘ someone’ appear and ask them to refill my drink. The dipping sauce is the same, it runs out very quickly but servers don’t refill till I request, and they don’t walk around the table that often. These are acceptable since no replacement near where I live but today, they told me I cannot eat here because I’m only 1 person?

Bad service. The restaurant marked to close at 9pm, we arrive at around 8:10pm, and the Korean man said that kitchen only opens till 8:30 so we can only order 1 round of meat with limitation of 3 dishes with a very bad attitude and very not patient. Won’t come to this restaurant again, such a bad experience

Looking for authentic Korean food near West Lafayette and found this place. We loved the grilled meat option at table and ordered the beef ribs, love it very much! The Korean hot pot stew was yum too! I will definitely come back again next time when I am in West Lafayette.

My friends and I got the All You Can Eat Korean BBQ. The service was nonexistent. After we finished our first round of meat, no one attended to us. After waiting for almost 45 minutes for a refill on our drinks and to reorder, we had to ask the host to place our order and refill our drinks. After our order was placed, we didn’t get our food for another 30 minutes and she was the one who replaced our grill, not our waiter. We also had a hair in our grill. We also had to pay a 18% gratuity for nonexistent service. Would NOT recommend coming here unless you are looking to be neglected and ignored.

Gaza and Xin is my mom’s and my favorite Korean spot in town! Tonight we brought my dad for the first time, and he loved it just as much as we do. The service, food, and overall experience were excellent. Definitely a place worth checking out!

We’ve been loyal customers of this Korean BBQ spot for years, but after our recent lunch visit, we’re seriously reconsidering returning.
We brought a friend visiting from out of the country, excited to introduce her to Korean BBQ—but this experience was a complete letdown. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, it took 15-20 minutes for anyone to come to our table. We only saw our server twice—once to take our order, and once to bring a refill. There was no table service during the meal, and the grill was replaced only once, even as it became crusted with burnt food remnants.
Because no one checked on us, our food ended up tasting burnt and unpleasant. It was embarrassing to have hyped up this place to our friend, only for her to leave with a bad impression.
To make matters worse, they automatically added an 18% gratuity for service that barely existed.
This was a far cry from the service we’ve received in the past, and unfortunately, it may have been our last visit.
