KIMCHI Korean Restaurant

Had to wait for 20 minutes because we had a party of 6 and went during peak lunch hour. The food was very good. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking for good Asian food.

My only qualm was that we were slapped with a $60 gratuity. Got a nasty look from the server when I put $0 in the tip, and that didn't sit right with me. She made like 6 tables worth from us and still wanted more. She was also being mean to the new server.

I ordered bossam through the app. It's dry, chewy, and not greasy at all. The most important thing in bossam is kimchi, but the kimchi seasoning is not properly applied and the taste is weak. The rice didn't feel well cooked either. I can't believe it's $28. If it was worth the money.

Food is just so so and service is literally nothing. Only 1-2 waiters in the whole restaurant serving all of the customers and tables. Price is too high and it’s not worthy. Only 4 dishes and it took us 110 dollars. I bet the cost behind it is only 5-10 dollars or so. The tip is 20% and VOLUNTARY! Will never go again

The food was amazing and i went with a couple of my friends until when i went home my friends had told me that the waiters were looking at our table weird and when they gave our food to us they slammed it down which usually you should slightly put it down. They were circling around our table at some point just staring at us and it like they didn’t want us there and it felt like we were being rushed to finish our food.

I had fond memories of kimchi from many years ago, and I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered it. I recalled giant bowls of delicious food I would eat on payday after mowing lawns for a job in high-school.

Upon returning, I realized that much had changed...
Pros:
1. The serving size was right for the price. It was very filling. Around 16$ for a large bowl of noodles.
2.The food itself was very well cooked and seasoned.
3. I was wary to return after reading online reviews which mentioned a mandatory tip. To my pleasant surprise, this was not the case. I was charged for my meal only and was able to make my own choice about gratuity.

Cons:
1. There were many signs taped on the walls about how each visitor must order a separate dish. I came by myself, so it was not that bad, but it makes me hesitant to return here on a date or with a friend; Sharing a giant bowl of noodles together is not an unreasonable thing to ask.
2. I ordered a spicy seafood udon, and was disappointed to find only a little seafood in there: Only one shrimp and one mussel. There were decent amounts of squid, though.

Overall, I enjoyed returning to kimchi after not eating there for so long. However, the flaws I mentioned will probably keep me from returning in the near future.

Great staff good prices abd delicious insuggest the seafood pancake you won't be sorry

The food is below average. Be aware that they charged additional Fees called " On line Fee" and a madated 10% Tip for Carryout order. No where on their website mentioned these additional Fee and madated Tip. There are other better places for food nearby. Will not go back there.

Taken out 2 bowls of beef bone soup and a seafood pancake yesterday but was really disappointed by the order. How could beef bone soup only have rice noodles and no ribs at all? I paid $18 for each bowl of beef bone soup and rice noodles is what I deserved?
