“The food, as always, was excellent. The service was fast and courteous. Our only concern was when they brought the checks, that they had assumed (without asking us) - that we had shared our appetizers and they made the decision to split the cost between us. We had never had this problem before. They were very busy and we didn't say anything about it. In the future we will make sure to inform the server about our preference.“
“The food was the star of this place (check out the video I tagged below to see how good the food looks!). I highly recommend this place if you're near Purdue or in Lafayette. The tacos are the best I've had in Indiana, and they compare to the best I've had in California (where I'm from). I've tried the tacos at other nearby places in Lafayette and nothing beats how well seasoned and juicy the meat is from El Nopal. I also like how they slice the meat smaller so that all the seasoning soaks into the meat. The red salsa served with the tacos is special. The two fajitas and plates (shrimp + other meats) I ordered were amazing as well, and extremely flavorful. 11/10! The service was great and the waitress was very kind and offering. Food was also served at a good speed, so I didn't have to wait for very long to eat, as I was starving! I enjoyed the ambiance and it gave a very authentic taqueria feel with the restaurant interior and music playing. Update: I forgot to mention that the horchata was very nice and refreshing as well, loved the cinnamon.“
“The service was amazing when we were first seated and gradually went downhill after we placed our food order. It's a Saturday night so it's on the busy side, which I can understand. My food came out slightly warm which was kind of disappointing considering the wait time. The taste of the food was delicious, especially the chips and salsa!“
