Super cute cafe that we stopped at on our way back to Ohio. I wanted something local and this was only 5 min off the highway. Homemade donuts/pastries, hot and cold breakfast sandwiches and delicious, moist tres leches cake!
Staff were really efficient and kind enough to give me a bag of ice to keep my tres leches cold on the 4 hour ride home.
I hope this cafe is still here when I travel back this way.

This place has one of the best bakeries I have visited in a while. Great many items and very good products and very cheap.
This is a cute bakery & coffee shop. Their seasonal orange & chocolate breads to celebrate day of the dead are one of my favorite desserts ever! They also have great everyday options like cinnamon rolls, tres leches, and pastries that are super yummy. That said, I would not recommend the brownies for price or quality-both were extreme disappointing. Outside of that, everything I’ve ever tried has been great, & my friend swears they have the best Boston cream donuts around!...read full review

Cielito Lindo Cafè is a great little cafe in the heart of Whiting, with a second store location there as well. It is a nice large store, cute and quaint, with a peaceful atmosphere. The service is friendly, helpful, and super kind. The staff are excellent workers with a positive attitude. The drinks are good, including the best latte and amazing coffee drinks. The Horchata Frappucino and Horchatta are perfectly rich, creamy, and off the charts. The food is also loved, with nice pastries that are freshly baked and amazing. The donuts and other items are enjoyed. It is a great addition to the area and a must try, considered one of the favorite coffee places.
