Your phone number on this site is no good. Calls will Not go through? Tried 2 different phones same thing. Was wanting to eat there for long time and couldn't even call.

This place was a lot better than I thought it would be, I was pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend the tenderloin sandwich.

Absolutely phenomenal food! Best ribeye I have had in a LONG TIME! Great selection of local brewers, portion sizes were great, clean! Service was top notch as well even when every seat in the house was full! (Make reservations) also you haven’t lived till you have their mozzarella sticks and Mac/cheese! HIGHLY recommend!

We'd been told that this place had the best prime rib around, and boy, they didn't lie! Hubs had the 23 oz prime rib, and said it was incredibly tender and flavorful. I had the special: ribeye with chimichurri sauce: Oh My Goodness! It rivaled any of the incredible ribeyes on offer in my hometown of Houston! The sides were cooked to perfection: mac & cheese, grilled asparagus, and baked potato. Everything I saw that passed us on plates headed to other tables looked delicious, as well. I will definitely be back next time I'm up this way.

Located in the lake region it is usually crowded. As most restarants in the county not open on Sundays. Dining is a simple modest atmosphere. We have both dined in and used the carryout option. Our different meal selections have always been very good, the service excellent and reasonably priced. Well worth the visit and we will return again.

Tried again at the request of my spouse. Been there three times all bad but my spouse wanted one of their huge tenderloin sandwhiches. Arrived around 6 pm Wed. tenderloin special night and decided to have their wing special. The special was 8 wings for ten dollars not special in my opinion but they must be huge to be priced at over a dollar each. No sides just wings. Wings arrived with white skin not skillet or grill marks or you might say not cooked. They were also the size of the average mans thumb (very small). I called the waitress back and told her i was not eating raw chicken. Tried to order a sandwich but she rushed them back to the chef and he threw them on the grill. A little later back they came now smaller than before but now with burnt edges. The grilling was completed perfectly as they were pretty good with their honey bbq. I also received blue cheese and celery but only one three inch piece of celeryand and a additional dollar. To say the meal was lacking is an understatement, its just a rip off. Now for the beverage selection. If you want a selection made up name drinks with umbrellas this is the place. Several craft beer selections but mostly stouts and porters. Overall not a good selection of Craft beers as most people don't drink dark beer. One bright spot the tenderloin sandwich is great as we ordered the second one after i finished my dinky wings.

Baked potatoes are on the menu after 4:00, we got there at 4:30, were told the potatoes wouldn't be done till 5:30 (guess someone forgot to put them in) Ordered prime rib, just not the same with french fries. I had been so looking forward to the prime rib, as it had been so good the last 3 times there, but this time it really did not have the flavor and was kind of dry. The side salad (which you have to pay an extra $1 for was not as good as in the past) A friend ordered their's rare and it was more like medium. Didn't get our food till 5:25, I asked if the baked potatoes were done to make a switch and was told they still were not ready. Talked to some family members who had just gone to the restaurant the day before and they said they had ran out of baked potatoes so they had to substitute for them as well. I had always recommended Beauty and the Bull to people but will think twice now and tell them to call ahead if they want a baked potato and ask if they have any.

We are from the Fredericksburg, Va. area, visiting family and stumbled upon this place looking for a place to eat. Let me first say that upon entering, the place is very clean, well decorated, organized and inviting. Staff was prompt to get us seated. Menu is small but DO NOT let that steer you away, in fact it should be more inviting as there is more dedication and concentration to your order. I couldn't believe how BIG the sides were (mac n cheese, a salad and coleslaw). Almost filling themselves. We had wings, pulled pork sandwich (being from the east coast it was a little different than what I am accustomed to, I don't use tomato based bbq sauce), a cajun chicken sandwhich and a bigazz burger. Everything we had was 100% fantastic. I am not much on fries and this place serves both sweet potato and regular fries and when I sampled co-eaters, I was impressed. All of our food came out piping hot. We're told the prime rib is not to be missed, but we'll have to hit this place next time we're here on a Fri or Sat. We'll be back for sure, until next time, don't change anything. Definitely one of the better places in the area to eat.
