“Great coffee! Very smooth and flavorful without being bitter. We stopped by before ISSMA at North Central on Saturday. Appreciated you serving us a little early so we weren’t late to our volunteer shifts. And our young servers were exceptional. My daughter is now a huge fan of your coffee house. “We were visiting Grand Park for sports (soccer), and are always looking to support a local company, but were especially looking for a place that roasted its own coffee. Being that there was also food was an added bonus. I had the Basecamp dark roast, and was in love at first sip. My son had the Caravel, and said it was very good also. As for the food, three different dishes were ordered. I had the sausage strata. It was a proper portion and was extremely tasty. My son had the Sara Lee special, which once I saw kinda wish I'd ordered, and he raved about it. Our third patron, ordered a lunch item, the Mediterranean sandwich, minus tomato. It was so good, and he was so hungry, he literally ordered a second. No complaints. You get what you pay for. We all agreed we'd go her before a litany of popular chain restaurants. I also left with a 5lb bag of the basecamp whole bean coffee, because I knew once I was in MI if I didn't get it I'd have regrets, and since I'm still dealing with the ones from summer camp as a kid, I don't want them standing up. Fantastic venue, personable service, and frankly down right comfortable, like home.“

“Went on a busy Saturday morning. Loved their bright, open interior and seating options. We were still able to get a seat even though there were a lot of people. We are serious coffee drinkers and like strong, darker roasts. We got one cortado and one nitro. Presentation was great! And I love that they served the coffee in actual dishes, not single serve cups. The sour flavor of the coffee was a bit overpowering for us (personal preference). We would have given the coffee 5/5 if it had been less sour. We ordered a cinnamon roll. It was pretty standard (maybe store bought?). A bit pricey for the quality. Next time we would just come for coffee and would probably try other options than the ones we ordered yesterday. They have lovely outdoor seating that will be nice when it gets a bit warmer. Lots of bright windows throughout the place.“

“Great shared space with a pastry shop. Cozy seating area. Parking in front on street and behind the building as well. Service is always great. By far the best Chai Latte I’ve had. We’ve been back several times and will continue to make our way there.“

“Very cool spot. I have driven by this coffee shop dozens of times and figured I would try it out. Got the classic mocha and it sure was good! They roast their own coffee here and even have it on display. If you are in the area and need some caffeine, check it out!“
