“We brought in a group that took over two tables, so I didn't quite understand why we weren't seated at tables next to one another when we had made a reservation over a month ahead of time. Other than that, the food was good. One chef was wildly entertaining, while the other seemed more focused on just cooking the food, until it came time to flip shrimp. That part is always fun and both chefs made it fun. Hibachi food is decent. I am a sushi lover, and the sushi here is ok, but nothing like what I've gotten in Lawrence or Kansas City. Service is ok and drinks were strong. It's a hibachi in Topeka, so my expectations were not for the fancy high-end kind that you would get in a big city like Kansas City or Chicago.“
