The space is very obviously an old Mexican restaurant so if you are looking for upscale ambience with cloth napkins this is not it however….the food is truly excellent. The waitstaff is friendly, the chef/owner is usually on site, and everything is very clean. Heartily recommend!“

“We went on a Saturday mid day. You order food at a window outside(it's sheltered from the weather) then go in the building and they bring you the food shortly thereafter. The BBQ is legit and the kids inhaled their burgers. There is also a small arcade inside and looks like a stage and coffee venue. It's a very interesting space and I hope to see it become more popular in the future. It would make for a great venue to see a live show.“

“OMG fantastic BBQ! Some of the best, most tender burnt ends I've had in KC! Definitely will be returning for brunch! We also enjoyed an appetizer w/$8 off for their "8th Anniversary Special" - we got the BBQ wontons - definitely would recommend. But I also saw the appetizer for onion straws - it was stacked about 6 inches high with onion straws across the 12 inch appetizer plate - it was HUGE to say the least & I was sad we didn't get that too after seeing it :) Kye was great! Very quick & on top of our needs. She seemed to be one of the few waiters/waitresses working & she kicked major butt! Thank you!!“

“I wanted to try something different. I had never been in so I dropped by. This little cafe doesn't disappoint. The staff aims to please. They are extremely attentive without hovering. The cafe is friendly both staff and other customers engage/greet you as you enter and are seated. I ordered a side salad, fried mushrooms, and garlic parmesan wings. The salad was typical. But the wings and mushrooms were excellent!!! They came fresh and piping hot!!! An unexpected surprise was the horseradish dipping sauce. It was AMAZING!!! Just the right amount of zip/ tang.Overall, the experience was enjoyable and I will be returning.“

We do have a laugh because my daughter asks for extra pickles every time and they add one to one and a half. Are pickles really that expensive?!?Parking: Plenty of easily accessible parking and 2 entrance/exits for traffic flow.“
