Another great visit to Lavons Bakery. So glad she was open when I was back home on Friday.
We didn’t end up ordering anything, because we just wanted pie or cheesecake but didn’t get there in time (before they sold out). But I am leaving a review because LaVon was lovely, and to post photos to help you find it. We drove past the turn on our first attempt because we didn’t know what we were looking for.
Chocolate cream pie, and my daughter had coconut. My grandson had the same thing I had and so did Jason and her boyfriend.

LaVon's Bakery & BBQ is a charming place, inside and out, with delicious food worth the drive. The beef and mashed potatoes were very good, and the key lime pie was just perfect - sweet and tart. The verenika with ham gravy is a must-try, full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Despite limited hours, every dish ordered was excellent, making the drive and time spent well worth it. With a variety of selections on the menu, this hidden gem is a delightful find for those searching for flavorful and satisfying meals.
