We drove 30 miles to come try this place for dinner. We were seated and then sat at our table while at least 5-6 different staff members walked past us. We watched people come in after us get waters ect. After over 15 minutes we decided to leave and just then the host came by and said let me find your waitress. We politely said we are just going to leave its been over 15 minutes. Not upset with her at all we could tell she was just as frustrated. I doubt we will ever attempt...read full review
I love Hays House! Not only is the history of this place amazing, the food is scrumptious and the service is even better! We live out of town and bring our guests here, our latest guest remembered Paul as our server the last time we were here! Paul is very kind and professional! He made our experience even better, thank you, Paul!

My wife and I drove from Topeka for Her Birthday Saturday evening to have Steak Dinner,It was Outstanding,The fried mushrooms were Amazing!!!!! Loved the Historic Atmosphere of the Building. Our waitress was Great ,we will be coming back. I am coming for the country fried steak dinner next .
