Always great, I feel like I can’t give it 5 stars because every time I order the same thing it is different and we have had to send things back to be fixed. They always fix it tho but that is a little bit of a problem. Atmosphere is always fun!

My wife and I ate dinner here after a walk at a very nice park nearby.
We both enjoyed the chips and salsa, and that is often the indicator of how much we’ll enjoy the overall meal.
She ordered the Pollo DeSoto which was a chicken and chorizo dish, and it was delicious. She couldn’t eat it all, and I ate the rest for lunch the next day.
I ordered a chimichanga and the menu offered ground beef, chicken, or pork for the filling. I asked for Al pastor, which is pork, and I saw on another menu item. When we received the bill, I had been up charged for the Al pastor. The menu didn’t say anything about it costing more. The waitress didn’t tell me that it would cost more. Plus - it’s pork, which is one of the three meat options offered for the chimichanga. It was only an extra $1.75, but not only was I not told about it, according to the menu it would seem to be no additional charge. I didn’t say anything, because it was a small amount, but I was definitely not expecting to be charged more.
The waitress was nice, but a bit slow in refilling our chips and salsa.
We enjoyed the food, but it’s a bit out of the way for us and we probably won’t come back.

Love this place. It’s our go to Mexican restaurant spot close to home in western Lenexa. Great food and service. I would definitely recommend.

Came to De Soto for an evening out, choose El Patron and it did not disappoint! Definitely enjoyed the burrito and the frozen margaritas. De Soto is quickly becoming a quick to-go food spot

The food was served hot and delicious! The steak I had was not as thick as I usually like, but it was a very good meal. The beer was cold and service was fast and friendly! I will go back soon!!!

We have been eating there for over 3 years now. We have been there numerous times. The people that work there are always on the ball and they are very friendly. It's our favorite Mexican restaurant to go to. They are always very busy so I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way as we do. The DeSoto burrito is great if you don't mind having french fries in your burrito. Who would have thought. It tastes great. My favorite are the fajitas. The salsa is excellent and the margaritas are very good. If it's your first time going, I would highly recommend it. I would be shocked if you have a bad experience. They have been consistently good and I can't think of a time where we had a bad experience or there was a problem.

Absolutely failed on customer service. Ordered food 7:45pm with estimated delivery within 30-50 min. Delivery kept getting pushed back further & further until it was finally estimated to arrive at TEN O'CLOCK pm, & a few minutes later THEY canceled my order.

Now nothing is open & we have no dinner. I get a message from delivery service saying Sorry, & that they have other options available around me, yeah, during dinner hours there sure were! And guess what, I bet those other choices would've actually provided the service they claim to be able to do.
