The food was served hot and delicious! The steak I had was not as thick as I usually like, but it was a very good meal. The beer was cold and service was fast and friendly! I will go back soon!!!

We have been eating there for over 3 years now. We have been there numerous times. The people that work there are always on the ball and they are very friendly. It's our favorite Mexican restaurant to go to. They are always very busy so I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way as we do. The DeSoto burrito is great if you don't mind having french fries in your burrito. Who would have thought. It tastes great. My favorite are the fajitas. The salsa is excellent and the margaritas are very good. If it's your first time going, I would highly recommend it. I would be shocked if you have a bad experience. They have been consistently good and I can't think of a time where we had a bad experience or there was a problem.

Absolutely failed on customer service. Ordered food 7:45pm with estimated delivery within 30-50 min. Delivery kept getting pushed back further & further until it was finally estimated to arrive at TEN O'CLOCK pm, & a few minutes later THEY canceled my order.
Now nothing is open & we have no dinner. I get a message from delivery service saying Sorry, & that they have other options available around me, yeah, during dinner hours there sure were! And guess what, I bet those other choices would've actually provided the service they claim to be able to do.
$28 for steak fajitas and a large guac. The portions were what you would expect for a kids menu item and tasted equally as bad. How do you mess up fajitas and guacamole? This place would not make it in a bigger town.....there are just too few of options in little De Soto so people deal with getting bent over for terrible food and high prices.

This place is a gem! We stopped in for an early light dinner. Very pleasant atmosphere and friendly, efficient service. We had the house margaritas, which were reasonably priced and really delicious (and not too sweet!). The chips were light and warm, with a good homemade salsa. We ordered off the a la cart menu. The beef soft tacos were what we expected. I ordered 3 chile rellenos, which were large and really stuffed with cheese and sauce--very tasty and more food than I expected. But the real surprise was the pork chimichanga! It was a good sized chili stuffed with moist, flavorful pork and generously covered in a light cheesy sauce. Enough for a meal and only $6.50 a la carte. We stumbled upon El Patron on a road trip and loved it. We'll eat there again the next time our travels take us that way!

I’ve been here quite a few times. I’ve called in orders to pick up and used Menufy to also place orders to pick up. And, I’ve eaten in the restaurant many times. They are always quick, efficient and clean. The food has been delicious every time. I have enjoyed all of the cocktails that I have tried as well. I just haven’t had one bad experience at El Patron!!
Dietary restrictions: I’m not sure but I believe I have seen some vegan options. There are probably more.
Parking: An open lot with only restricted handy capped spaces. Other wise you choose.
Kid-friendliness: It appears to be.
Wheelchair accessibility: I think so.

Good, quick mexican food ?
Great little taste of Mexico out in De Soto.
Chips are lite and flaky, and the salsa has the perfect balance of sauce vs. chunkiness and has great flavor. Had the Trio Chimichanga. All 3 were wonderful, great flavor, chicken was very tender. Careful to not fill up on chips and salsas, save room for dinner and dessert!!!
