Every time I go to this Chipotle, they’re magically out of all the free ingredients.. fajita veggies, mild salsa, corn, you name it. But somehow they never run out of the stuff that costs extra. Steak? Guac? Cheese? Fully stocked. Convenient, huh
It’s like they’re not even trying to hide it anymore. At this point it feels intentional, like they’re just trying to save a buck by quietly skipping the freebies and hoping no one notices.
It’s not just frustrating it’s a full blown tease. Derby has a chipotle but you basically can never actually order what you want no matter what time of the day😆 This location should definitely do better

Haven't said anything for a while but today was the worst my daughter's steak chunks were flavorless and dry as jerky. I even spit it out when I tried it.. Not to mention the portions when you call ahead are a complete joke

Me and my husband placed an online order to have our food delivered. We don’t live to far from Chipotle. When the food arrived it wasn’t even warm. Not even the bottom of the bowl. The rice was stiff. It came just as you see it in the bowl. Doesn’t even look appetizing. I paid $16.70 for just this one bowl that seems as if it had been sitting out for hours. The website is apparently sketchy cause I placed an order for 1 Burrito bowl for myself and 1 Burrito Bowl for my husband and somehow when I hit order it must’ve deleted one of my items cause I had done my typical order review prior to confirming my order. Anyways, not saying this place is no good I’m just sharing my 1st experience with them.

Today at 7:40 26 June 2025 I picked up our mobile order. My rice bowl had several pieces of bite size chunks of fat. Food was cold The place was discussing! THE FLOORS and EVERY Table, even the counter where you checkout was covered with food. Trash was overflowing and piled up on the floor. The young man that waited on me was actually picking up food and shoveling his mouth with food. My question is, Who is in charge of that place?

On numerous occasions, I will show up to pick up a mobile order. The response from the employee is frequently “oh it isn’t your order pickup time yet.” Strangely they don’t seem to understand that I selected a pickup time and I know they are lying.

We got there a lil after dinner time (about 7pm) the place was filthy and they had no rice so we had to wait til they made more. By the time they made more rice there were about 8 more people behind us waiting on rice then we asked for extra protein and they gave us about 3 pieces of extra meat the bowls were only about half full. Unfortunately the place was ran by kids I doubt there was 1 person over 18 I there besides customers

So the hours read open till 11 PM, Appearently Derby Chipotle rolls up store at 8:45. No fajita veggies. Cheese container empty, really all containers empty. Grill cold, so nothing started, no crunchy taco shells, no quesadillas, no chicken in burrito, I basically received a rice burrito. THANKS!...for nothing! Beware go to Rock and Kellogg or Hillside and Central

Waited 15 min to get food with one person in line ahead of us and a couple placing the order. One person working the front two people working to go’s however there was no to go’s so they was foisting off dancing in the back where we could clearly see them. Portions was minimal mainly due to them being out of the items I wanted. Every table was dirty while the cash register just stood and the register watch the one dude serving the food struggle. Manager was no where to be seen just pissed off customers. Starting to think the chipotle at 21st and maize is the last decent restaurant left in the Wichita area.
Vegetarian options: Was out of vegetables, pico, cheese, and scraping the bottom of the guacamole

I feel bad I forgot this guy's name he was AMAZING so nice and I felt bad bc I came in right before they close but the food so good the service was better I came in at like 10:40 on a Sunday the who helped me PHENOMENAL deserves a raise so so nice.
