This is one of my favorite restaurants to frequent for takeout Asian food. It’s always fresh-made, never cold, not over fried (if it’s like a crab rangoon or egg roll or something like that), and reasonably fast! They are very reasonably priced. The only reason I pay between 10-$20 is because on my orders, I typically order for several meals per person so I can eat the food for a couple of days. We chose Golden House from a lot of restaurants in the hotel literature. It only provides takeout. So off we went to the restaurant. It was a hot day in Dodge City and even hotter in the restaurant. The owner/cook greeted us. He told us he's been cooking there for 35 years. We took the food back to our room. My wife was not as hungry as it was so we had the soup and egg rolls. Delicious!!!

Excellent Steam Table Food to go during lunch time. Most of the food off the menu is pretty good. My favorites are the sautéed squid with preserved vegetables, fried chicken wings, sautéed fillets of fish with vegetables, oysters Claypot and beef broccoli.
