Big C's Cafe Reviews
Stopped here on my way up from Oklahoma for coffee and an egg sandwich to go, saw the big breakfast burrito on the menu and it was excellent! Tasty, large and filling.
Went out for lunch today while visiting family, food was great but the service was better! The young man who waited our table was patient while my 2 year old wondered around the empty restaurant and was extremely kind to us through the whole meal. He sold us an amazing apple pie and even gave my daughter a dollar from his own pocket for her to play the claw machine. 10/10 will be back again when we visit in the future!
Worth every penny, worth every mile, and hands down worth every smile!!! Some of the most friendliest staff, and made us non-locals feel right at home! The food was amazing, affordable, delicious, and the pie selection was “slap full” every day we stopped in on our vacation! The calf fries and home style taters will make your tongue slap your brains out!!! 10/10 recommend and will now be a tradition for our family to stop each time!

Big C's Cafe is a friendly restaurant where the staff excels at recommending specials and making guests feel at home. The catfish special on Friday nights is a favorite, along with the Patty Melt, turkey croissant, and the bacon cheeseburger. Portions are huge, with a pound of meat in the burgers! The food is fresh and delicious, with options like fries that are not salted for those who prefer it. Guests have praised the spaghetti for its unique seasoning, and the garlic bread is a perfect combination. The green beans, while canned, are properly seasoned and have delightful additions. The breakfast options, including the big breakfast burrito, are tasty, large, and filling. The servers are fantastic, patient, and kind, making every visit memorable. A young server even went above and beyond by being kind to families and offering personal touches like giving a dollar for a claw machine. Big C's Cafe is a great place to dine in Elkhart, whether stopping by for lunch or enjoying a meal in their dirt parking lot. Hometown goodness is guaranteed, and the spicy cheese curds are a must-try for those seeking some heat.
