Nu Grille Reviews
Food tastes good but I don't think that they are honest about burger size. Wife and I went in and we both ordered the jumbo burger. Menu says 4.5 ounces, I am generous in saying they were maybe 2 ounces of ground beef. We mentioned it to the waitress, and ND she asked the chef to make us new ones. Very disappointed! It's a shame because we have always enjoyed eating there. Not anymore.
The breaded tenderloin sandwich are fantastic. Not greasy, wonderful breading melt in your mouth. Oh yeah, the mushrooms were outstanding.
I hope this place never closes, its one of the things I look forward to the most besides seeing family when I'm in Fort Scott. Service is unmatched compared to anything around where I'm from, and the food is amazing 🤤

Nu Grille is a nostalgic spot with a large dining area that offers amazing food and friendly service. The waitresses are helpful and recommend the delicious onion rings that are a must-try. The Angus beef burgers are served hot with crispy twirly fries and terrific onion rings. The atmosphere is fun, with diner stools, booths, and tables, along with great music. The double cheeseburger is surprisingly very good despite being a bit greasy. The restaurant also serves a great breakfast, including a special chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, which is perfect. The prices are reasonable, making it a good place to visit often when in the area. If in Fort Scott, Nu Grille is definitely worth checking out for a delightful dining experience. The food, like the fresh-cut fries and broasted chicken dinner, reminds one of a small hometown diner.
