“We love it here! So much so we had our wedding reception here! Kid friendly too. Our granddaughter loves coming to play pool and the parades on main st. Never dull. Where everyone knows everyone...and if we don't know you we soon will. So many memorabilia hanging around from record albums, photos, route 66 stuff, Gravy's favorite longhorn bull, just tons to look at and figure out. And don't miss out on Sunday Chiefs games when we have big pot lucks. The music is great whether he shuts down 4th St for Torn or opens up Possum holler during concerts/parties. Just a fun, friendly experience.“

“Haven't been there in years but when I was going, it was one of the best places I've ever been. I'm wondering if anybody could tell me is Howard still around. I've tried to find the number for this bar several times I just keep getting a recording standard no longer in service so I don't even know if it's just bar is still open. But I sure would like to get ahold of Howard.“

“I like this bar, mostly because of the patio, but it's changed a lot since I last attended. I'd give it more stars, but the place has a weird social vibe now. The online jukebox is the most expensive I've ever seen! $7 for just 2 sOngs!?!? Music should never cost more than your beer 😦“

“This place is a classic they have a lot of pool tables and they even have shuffleboard our bartender Roxi always takes great care of us we don't live in the area but we always stop in when we pass through the only reason I didn't rate the food is because we have never ate there but you can see into the kitchen and it looks super clean“

“This was our first visit. The service was good, we loved how it was decorated. The food was good as well, but we thought the $44 for no more than what we got was high. Hb/personal size onion petals, cheesy nachos and loaded fries, and two teas. Making with tax, $22 bucks each. Good was good, but not THAT good. Didn't realize we got charged for cheese, again for jalapeños, and again for bacon we thought that was included on the nachos and fries.“

“We absolutely loved our experience. The staff was kind, courteous, and checked back to ensure our needs were met. The atmosphere reminded me of being in Florida while visiting the Midwest. The owner made time to not only visit, but connect with each table. We ordered a crab platter and it was exceptional. Just as if we had purchased it from the gulf coast! Turtleheads is a definite must if you are wanting to have that beach/ gulf coast feel. We will definitely be back!“
