We found El Canelo by chance and decided to try it. Oh, my goodness! Everything from the salsa (excellent meld of flavors and a touch of heat) to the beans and rice to the chiles rellenos I had (almost melt in your mouth delicious) and the enchiladas my husband had (sauce made from actual chiles, not chili powders) it was authentic and flavorful.
