Stopped by when traveling for the holidays. This restaurant is super informal. You can hear kids playing in the back of the store, something I loved. We played pool after ordering and waited for our food. I ordered the vegetarian plate. My husband had the beef plate and kids the spaghetti. The food was incredibly delicious. Everything was fresh. We had a wonderful time learning about East Africa! The owner was so nice and really educated us! The food was so good, a little spicy for my husband's taste, but not at all for me! It was an experience that we thoroughly enjoyed and we will definitely be back!
Food is absolutely amazing. I tried the lamb and chicken plate and the flavor was incredible. Whether you’re in town for a visit or live in Garden City, this restaurant is a MUST. The atmosphere is very fun and the owners are so kind and friendly. Everything is so authentic and a great experience. I can’t wait to go back!
