El Agave is a nice little restaurant in a quaint old farming town. The Mexican food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic, with generous portions that come out hot and delicious. The nutria tacos are flavorful, the beef is tender, and the sauces are exceptional. The cheese dip is delicious and just spicy enough. The tortas stand out, with excellent bread that makes the sandwich out of this world, plus fresh veggies and guacamole. The a lambra tacos and the jamaica agua fresca are amazing, and the aguas frescas are made from scratch in house. The service is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes the whole experience even better. Prices are fair, and it is a great find only a couple of miles off the interstate, smack dab in the middle of small town Goodland, Kansas.
