As usual for me along I-70, I'm looking for breakfast. This location hit the spot. I enjoyed the Diner Hash Skillet. Served on an iron skillet, it was a good portion at a good price. Ingredients were layered in hash browns. Gravy was tasty. I expected two eggs and got one. I later noticed menu specifically says 1 egg for the other skillets. Menu typo?
Staff was friendly during a busy Sunday morning. Staff was very young, but handled patrons well getting everyone seated and cleaning tables. We had several staff wait on us.
Dining room does not have the best atmosphere and is geared toward efficient serving of patrons rather than comfortable atmosphere. Works for me for affordable tasty food.
I'll keep this place in mind in the future. Thank you.

Very popular local place. We had about a 30+ minute wait on a Sunday morning. Even with being busy, the waiter was cheerful and kept up. The pancakes were good but could have used real butter. Wasn't too noisy to chat.

Waited for 15 minutes to be attended. I was solo, and a new group of 6 came in and they got attended right away. Waiter made eye contact with me several times. I've never been in a place where they acknowledge you and don't make an attempt to even talk to you. As soon as she attended them, I got up and walked out the door. They did not even offer me anything to drink. I don't recommend coming here if you aren't from Kansas.

I wasn't impressed. The bacon in the skillet was chewy. Like the bags of bacon that say "real bacon" the waitress never made eye contact and we had to go upfront to wait for our waitress to be found so we could receive our ticket and pay the overpriced bill. Would have been better had service been better. First and last visit
