Pleasant dining experience, Prime Rib special on Saturday night is unbeatable. Friendly staff with a well maintained restaurant.

Waited for 15 minutes to be attended. I was solo, and a new group of 6 came in and they got attended right away. Waiter made eye contact with me several times. I've never been in a place where they acknowledge you and don't make an attempt to even talk to you. As soon as she attended them, I got up and walked out the door. They did not even offer me anything to drink. I don't recommend coming here if you aren't from Kansas.

I wasn't impressed. The bacon in the skillet was chewy. Like the bags of bacon that say "real bacon" the waitress never made eye contact and we had to go upfront to wait for our waitress to be found so we could receive our ticket and pay the overpriced bill. Would have been better had service been better. First and last visit

This is our breakfast stop when we are in Hays. They have a good selection on the menu. The service is always friendly and fast. The dinning area is clean and cozy.

The waitresses are very nice and the owner usually comes out and checks on us at least once. Probably the best brunch/breakfast place in Hays, though the competition is not real stiff. Their dinner menu is good too, overall good classic American Diner food and friendly service. Only thing that probably keeps it from 5 stars for me is it is a little expensive in my opinion for what it is, but worth it to keep my dollars local.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, they always have place holder for our baby in his bassinet.

The menu they have posted is not accurate. I drove here thinking I would spend 20 dollars on an omelette and burrito and ended up spending almost 30 because the prices have gone up. I'm highly disappointed. I normally would never spend that much on two basic items.

Management is horrible. She not only treats her customers like trash but also her employees. If this place still has any chance at staying open, she needs to go. After she refused to make an incorrect order right, she yelled at our table. The other waitresses felt so bad that they came up to us to tell us she is mean to them too! Totally unacceptable. Pleeeeease do not eat here! Unless you want to be berated in front of everyone for their own mistakes. After we paid and were on our way out, this manager shouts, “thanks for your business!” Really?! How petty can you be? Definitely someone who should not be in a management position. She should be in the back washing dishes and not dealing with customers.

We will not be eating here again. The management was so rude to us as customers and also to her staff. One of our meals was not made as ordered and was sent back to the kitchen. It took 20-25 minutes for the meal to get served again. The manager was so rude and didn’t apologize at all.

Came in on a Sunday morning, wasn’t too busy when we arrived. We told them we had a party of 14, and the hostess rolled their eyes and muttered “seriously?”.

We were seated shortly after, and then got our drink order in. Shortly after that we put our food order in, and then it got busy. Understandable for a Sunday morning. A few people got the wrong drinks, but again, it’s fine, they eventually got the right drinks.

Food took quite a while to come out, but when it did, several people again had food messed up, and they had to wait while the food was being remade.

At no time did our waitress tell us or mention to us the policy of not spitting the ticket on parties of 8 or more. In fact, they even came around with a notebook and were in the process of working out the split tickets when the manager came up and very rudely told us the policy, and was extremely hostile about it. We then realized even our ticket was wrong, and again, the manager was very hostile.

The waitresses were very nice and accommodating, and did nothing wrong after we were seated.

Food was good, trough was great to split with multiple people.
It was quite busy at 10am on a Friday and they seemed very understaffed
