Really good bakery get there early for a good selection I had the apricot danish my wife had the apple my son had a cupcake we even went back for another apple danish and a lemon bar everything was phenomenal and the place was warm and welcoming all in all a very good place to stop for breakfast

When in Hays, we always stop by Augustine's Bakery. Large selection of freshly made pastries. Picked up a box of my favorite scones. Another favorite from their lunch fare are their delicious homemade soups, available to go in quart containers, and another personal favorite, their Bierocks! Had to grab a box of those to take home !

We used Augustine’s for our wedding and everything turned out amazing!! Because I love out of town, they had great communication through facebook messenger and was very prompt with replies and quotes. I had several ideas and they were very helpful in helping me narrow down my options for the perfect cake. I knew a pool table groom’s cake was going to be a bit of a challenge but they knocked it out of the park with how perfect it was! Also, their prices are VERY affordable compared to other nearby small town bakeries!

We have used Augustine’s for two separate special occasions and have been very delighted with our treats. She is a very talented baker and has been very accommodating to our needs. She was kind enough to make us a Biscoff Cookie Butter cheesecake, our households most recent crave (photo #2) and it was absolutely amazing. If you don’t want a whole cheesecake, they offer them by the slice as well. Highly recommended.

Best darn bierocks in town!! They are always a nice size and they aren't all dough and little filling. I try to get them 2-3 times a month as my family likes them as well. Also the decorated sugar cookies are so darn good.

I have not eaten here. However, my sister's best friend and I tried to plan a surprise by getting a whole pie for her birthday. First off, the hours make it hard to get ahold of anyone. The online menu offers whole pies and no where that I could see...and I looked hard...did it say they required advance ordering. When BF called to order, the lady on the phone was rude and snippy. I called as well and the quy who answered made excuses and was rude and sounded high.I hope for my sister's sake that the pie is better than the customer service.

Lovely place with a great menu of specials and baked treats all at a real fair price. The Friday lunch with fried noodles, beans and dumplings sounded a bit strange to me at first, but it's heavenly - you MUST try it! I've only had the baklava from the bakery side, but it was incredible. Plus the folks are real friendly too and it's super fast.

I’m so glad we took time to try this local bakery. We love cinnamon rolls. We read previous reviews and that was the influence we needed. Very soft from edge to center. We had vanilla icing and almond crunch. Take time to enjoy local businesses. Very friendly owners, staff. We stopped before 8am on a Saturday. I’m sure the other products would be just as good in quality.
