Great restaurant in this college town. The menu has a broad selection of dishes from salads to burgers to steaks. Decent wine list with decent pricing for a micro-brew place. Been to Hays several times and we always eat here.
I stopped in last week to have their bacon cheeseburger listed for $14.50 that says 'with your choice of cheese'. They billed me $15.50 If you are going to charge for cheese, you should probably just list it as a 'bacon burger' and say 'with your choice of cheese for $1 extra'. You can't charge extra for something it says it comes with ; )I tried my friends chicken fried steak, which I was pleased to see added back on the menu, but it was odd looking inside. Food, greble for appetizer, garlic green beans - out of this world, chicken fried steak and fish ordered from others in the party, excellent and service was wonderful but the music was way too loud. Waitress was good. Maybe need to ask when folks come in walking with canes if they would like a table not clear to the back.
