“Food, greble for appetizer, garlic green beans - out of this world, chicken fried steak and fish ordered from others in the party, excellent and service was wonderful but the music was way too loud. Waitress was good. Maybe need to ask when folks come in walking with canes if they would like a table not clear to the back.“
“Cozy little mom and pop restaurant. Simple dishes with American and german influences. Customer service with a smile and qaulity product at a reasonable price. Historic building and popular local spot.Vegetarian options: Green bean and dumplings are excellent.Parking: Enough parking for the amount of seating inside.Kid-friendliness: Booths and tables“
“Nothing short of exceptional from Hays. Seth was our waiter, and he was beyond phenomenal. Food was HOT, fresh, and delicious.I had one of the mac and cheese dishes, fried mishrooms, and my husband had the Reuben.A must try if you are in the area, just save us a seat!“
“Cozy little sandwich location. I had the tomato soup and a grilled cheese and really liked both. The sandwich had bread to cheese ration and the soup was seasoned very nicely. There were good sized portions as well. Comes with a delicious cookie. Stop by this place if you’re hungry!“
“We’re traveling from Missouri toUtah and staying all night in Hays. Went here for dinner. Service was excellent! I got the fried chicken and my husband got the roast beef sandwich. Both were wonderful. We’ll have to stop back in on our return trip home.“
“Came to the Q for lunch. They open early, so that's a plus. We shared a Philly cheese steak with au jus and curly fries. Thankfullywe will split it. It's a full meal deal for sure. Delicious!! Looking forward to going back and trying the Cuban sandwich. Yum!!“
“Gem of a restaurant! Always on the lookout for great places to eat on the drive cross-country, and this is one to remember. The kids devoured their street corn and arepas. The tiger burger was perfectly cooked. The paella was absolutely fantastic. Manuel was so welcoming, and the service was quick! Definitely looking forward to revisiting this friendly and delicious restaurant. Next time, we'll ask how many pennies it took to make the floor!“
“I was impressed....every part of our visit turned out to be pretty awesome! We were all trying each others food! Our server was so nice, helpful, and right on time with everything we wanted, very concerned that we were happy with our visit. Bartender was spot on too...Weird to say, but restrooms were clean and tidy, and that's important to us.We will be back!“
“It was late on 4-15-24 around midnight. I pulled in tired and hungry. The server (I wish I got his name) was sooo great and attentive. He offered my service dog some food no one picked up. He took care of all my requests and even brought refill before I needed it. I had been on the road for the last 6 days and it was nice to not have to beg for a drink refill, syrup, silverware, the bill, or anything else. I wish I had more money to give him a bonus tip. IHOP is my new go to restaurant for road trips! Plus he went out of his way to let me know that I was preparing to drive straight into a bad thunderstorm with heavy rain and possible tornadoes. His info convinced me to get a room for the night. He may well have saved my life! My high profile van was tossed all over the road the next morning when I headed out. And that was just the tail end of the storm!“
“This place is a dream come true! Love the inside but,.put more baseball on your TV's! The staff in great, the food is SO goodHands down best pizza in this part of Kansas. The pizza rolls are amazing and so is the chocolate cake. They always have something good on tap too. Both dine in and take out are simple and easy. You can't go wrong coming here.“
“Whether you are a local, or just passing through Pheasant Run Diner is a GREAT value for the price! Their bathrooms ? were clean, food was better and more affordable than IHOP, and you are supporting local. Ask for Emily as she was AMAZING!“
“We absolutely love this place. We sat outside for some sun. Waiter was very friendly and waitress was as well. Menu was nice variety and we had appitizers which were excellent. I'm not from this area but grandkids/great grand child are. I will be bringing them back as this is my type of place to sit and enjoy a meal. Thank you !!!“
“Awesome, awesome food. The wait was about 30 minutes to get in on a Saturday night around 5 pm, but everything was perfect. Tried the nachos with pulled pork and they were so good, plus way too much food. Wife then got the steak dip sandwich-great steak, flavor, overall great. I got the Ribeye special which came with baked beans and garlic mashed taters and everything was great. Ribeye was perfectly cooked medium rare and the seasoning wasn't over powering but just right. Great jobParking: Plenty right in front of building“
