“Atmosphere, staff, food quality, portion, all five stars. This is one of my favorite places to eat in the country. It embraces what makes America great. I enjoyed four samples of the beers all were delicious. For dinner I chose the pork chop with the carrots and green beans. The pork chop was tender and perfectly prepared. All absolutely delicious and top quality. The cinnamon apples on top of the pork chop where a treat!“

“We stopped here on our way to Colorado. We are a family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 2 pre-teens and 1 child. It rarely happens that we all love our food, but at Tiger Station, we did. The chicken po boy was amazing. The kids all loved their chicken baskets and the hubs loved the fish. We'll definitely be stopping here again next time we come through Hays.“

“OK, here's the facts. You must stop here if you are near Hays Kansas! We had hamburgers, malts, and a salt-free patty for our puppy. This is not our first time here, and won't be the last. If you are on I-70, call ahead about 15 minutes and make the drive down South on the main drag. Get away from the interstate and have "real food" cooked to perfection. I posted my pictures and they have a paper menu if you ask to take with you. You can mix any two milk shake flavors for $0.25, a quarter. I can't say enough good things. The awning is large and covers the entire car on hot days or in the rain. I love this place! Also, there is a great Starbucks on the way down there, hint hint. Check it out! PS , they are closed on Mondays so plan your trips accordingly.“

“Visited for the first time last night. The food and service were excellent. The beer wasn’t too bad either! I will be back the next time I’m in town.“

“This place was very nice, with a menu centered around fried chicken. The chicken per se was excellent, and we cleaned the plate. A special love of ours is chicken livers… They were slightly overcooked, and the breading was not as incredible as the chicken per se. But that is a minor complaint, and we love this place.“

“Alyssa was friendly and engaging as she greeted the intrepid party of adventuring heroes. Her eyes shone with the dazzling brilliance of a thousand stars as the witty banter was bandied about. The adventures took a seat and the dark brooding presence of Emmett James Espinoza overshadowed the scene. "What'll ye have, me heartless land lubbering scallywags," he demanded. The heroes were so flustered by his audacious demand that hands immediately grasped hilts. Not to be outdone, JT said, "argh... What's your favorite, Emmett James Espinoza, ya lily-livered bilge pumper? Bring us that, and none more of your sassy lip!" With that, the wanton Prince of Doom and darkness turned a pirouette and flounced away. Gavin pulled out his Gerber multi tool from it's scabbard on his leather belt and proclaimed loudly "I like this place!", stabbing the blade deep into the faux mahogany table top. "You're going to pay for that," Alyssa said with a frown.... and the adventure only got better from there.“

“The service is not three stars because of the people. The gals he gets to tend bar and wait tables are great, they just need more of them, habitually a little under staffed. I think it is good bar food, I like their burgers, wings, and chili dogs. A little bit of a retro, dive bar feel but that is what I love about it. Fun place to drink and watch a game as well, a Hays staple.“

“Took my daughter for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed in the restaurant. The food was okay, but the service was below average. There needed to be more waitstaff.
Kid-friendliness: Very much a kid friendly restaurant. Ample highchairs are available and a nice kid menu.“

“THE place to eat in Hays! Our one and only stop after a good night of trap league! Ice cold beer and great food! We ALWAYS start with pig tails and sheet pan nachos. Our go to entree? Ribeye, sweet potato fries, side salad. If you’ve never had the sweet potato fry sauce, you’re missing out. If you’re not into steaks it’s hard to go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. The teriyaki chicken and black and blue burger are also some of our favorites! The staff is always great and ready to serve you with a smile! Our only complaint… make the frosty (a mixed drink) available year round!!!“
