“This place is way bigger on thr inside, so dont be concerned if you see a line or a lot entering. The staff is great and will get you in. Parking might be an issue, but its worth it.

“This is our stop round-trip between Illinois and Colorado every couple months. The menu of homemade comfort food at affordable prices is a gem of a place. Today I had a bowl of green bean dumpling soup and my husband had chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese on French bread, but there are other bread choices. See you on our way back to Illinois!“

“Road trip brought us here to Hays Kansas. Unplanned and completely random stoping for gas and decided on a meal as well. Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday and was pleasantly surprised with a very good pork adobo, fresh pansit, lumpia and some right out of the oven Ube pan de sal with cheese. Polite staff and quiet atmosphere.“

“I was there on a busy night without a reservation. Wait was not long at all, staff was very attentive and even offered free dessert for my wait. To my surprise earlier a very nice gentleman had already paid for my dinner. Hays, KS has the nicest people. A big thank you to whomever paid for my meal!!!!“

“Fantastic Japanese food. Excellent service. Our family, travelling through on vacation, enjoyed gyoza, takoyaki, the fire lobster roll, a teriyaki salmon bento, chicken teriyaki, and chicken yakisoba. Having lived a short time in Japan, we came to love the flavors and dishes and Osaki did not disappoint. Recommend!“

“Okay for real!!! Hays KS maybe a sleeper town, but you gotta stop here for gas eventually.
My wife and I are big foodies and travel all around the world just to try cuisine.
We never stop at fast food and try local establishments first.
This place is Panda Express (which I refuse to eat at) on a new level! We both got their orange chicken (another thing I typically never order). It was made fresh per order and it was actually delicious. The portion sizes are massive and the flavor was 100x’s better than a typical Asian Buffett version.
Believe me. Stop and try this place.“

“We weren’t sure if we would be able to be served when we arrived 30 minutes before they closed. But they took really good care of us. The steaks were amazing and the service was excellent. They even served us complimentary ice cream since it was Mother’s Day the next day.“

“February 1, 2025 Ashley, Bronco, and I woke up early, finished packing up the Jeep and headed out to Wichita, Kansas. First stop was Loves Travel Stop in Burlington Colorado for Bronco to run around the dog park, our second stop was Taco Shop for lunch in Hays, Kansas! Then made it to The Keeper of the Plains Riverwalk in Wichita Kansas and called it a day!
