“I had six teeth removed Monday and wanted egg drop soup. None in Salina. I had some last Thursday and took the chance by calling Melanie’s Kitchen. Melanie answered and told me she was closed on Monday’s. I told her my quandary. She told me to call her tomorrow and she would fix me the soup. I did and she did!! It is always the best ever.

Melanie, you are truly a caring, loving person. I wish others will follow in your footsteps!!!

“Since it’s Drive-Thru only, it’s quick and easy if you’re staying in Hays, large portion sizes for the price, and the food is solid too. Highly recommend if you just want something to pickup or you’re arriving later than 8PM.“

“We have been doing take-out lately and the food has been great. We find that one entre is enough to feed both of us a big meal. I like the Orange Chicken and she prefers the General, so we end up getting one of each. I add in a side order of sushi just for the fun of it. \n\nWe get all of this (with rice and drinks) for around $20 and make 2-3 meals for each of us out of it.\n\nThe dining area is small so I think they are currently drive-through only.“
