“It was late on 4-15-24 around midnight. I pulled in tired and hungry. The server (I wish I got his name) was sooo great and attentive. He offered my service dog some food no one picked up. He took care of all my requests and even brought refill before I needed it. I had been on the road for the last 6 days and it was nice to not have to beg for a drink refill, syrup, silverware, the bill, or anything else. I wish I had more money to give him a bonus tip. IHOP is my new go to restaurant for road trips! Plus he went out of his way to let me know that I was preparing to drive straight into a bad thunderstorm with heavy rain and possible tornadoes. His info convinced me to get a room for the night. He may well have saved my life! My high profile van was tossed all over the road the next morning when I headed out. And that was just the tail end of the storm!“
