Nice little place to eat. We had chicken fried steak. Was very tasty. They also have several flavors of pie. Service was also good. The reason I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere was that it was a bit warm in the resturant as the AC was not keeping up very well.
JD’s is really good. We saw them while driving around and had to give them a try. We were pleasantly surprised by their menu and food style. We had been wanting fried fish for a while and was definitely not disappointed! Our server was super nice too. I liked that the food was more modest or simple and not overly seasoned. Will definitely go again! I think the atmosphere could be a little better. Our table was a little small for everything we had. But no big deal.
I wish I could give this place 5 stars, it was excellent! The only reason I cant is the cleanliness of the restaurant. We sat in a corner booth, and there were crumbs and old food where the seat of the booth meets the backrest, and trash and old fries under the table that looked like they had been there a while. The other booths appeared to be similar. Keep the place clean and its a 5 star for sure!
