This place was small but nice. The dance floor was so cool!! And the dj booth was disguised as a bus which i thought was very interesting. There was a small stage and a sort of like go-go dancer cage on the dance floor, as well as a small stage box up on the bar with a pole that customers can use š Music was good too. Mostly throwback 90s and 2000s.
We tried the pizza fries for an appetizer, they were good but I feel like a little garlic powder or salt would make them amazing. I got the Santa Fe chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and it was so good! My dad tried the āhells bellā burger and he smashed it! The service was good! Towards the end the bartender/ server got a little busy while we were waiting for our ticket but it was the beginning of happy hour. Iām glad we stopped in on our weekend in hays for the races.
The service is not three stars because of the people. The gals he gets to tend bar and wait tables are great, they just need more of them, habitually a little under staffed. I think it is good bar food, I like their burgers, wings, and chili dogs. A little bit of a retro, dive bar feel but that is what I love about it. Fun place to drink and watch a game as well, a Hays staple.
