“I mean, what can I say? If you’re from Hays, this is probably the town’s most famous restaurant. I grew up with it, and I love it. My wife (not from Hays, never had Taco Shop until she was 37) now loves this place. Some of their items are meh, but the “staples” are just great. The service and management do a great job here. Fast, friendly, and mostly consistent. 5 stars. All the way. Mic drop.“
“The ordering experience is good, pretty self explanatory and the food tastes great. When we got our food we were missing some items and my burrito was wrong but the manager made it a great experience for us. He got us our tacos and chips and dip and on top of that he offered to remake the burrito and when I said no it was fine I do like chicken he comped the burrito and the chips and dip for us! He really turned a mediocre experience into a great one!“
