“Amazing restaurant! Food was spectacular! I had the BBQ Mac and Cheese, and it was the best Mac and cheese I've ever had (don't tell my mom). Prices were SUPER reasonable. And only a 20 minute wait during lunch rush hour on a weekday. Also a loud establishment, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet for a date night then this is not the place. Although they have outdoor seating which may prove to be better for that reason.“

“This is an absolute gem of a dive bar and is my FAVORITE. The drinks are well priced, they have live music on Saturdays and karaoke as well. The inside can be a little loud during karaoke events, but the back patio is fenced in with western theme and is gorgeous. There is a fire pit, tons of different seating options, and it feels like a completely different vibe when you step out there. They truly treat their customers like family and are really a great little bar.“

“I absolutely love this place!! This is the first dive bar I went to when searching for one here in Wichita and I’m so glad I decided to go. I have already become a regular haha. The whole staff is absolutely amazing. I want to give a specific shoutout to Ronnie and Ryan. All the nights I’ve been there, they have taken care of and looked after me like no other. Genuinely the most attentive and caring bartenders ever. The Stop is always popping which I love and is the perfect spot to make some new friends!“

“I had an amazing experience at John Barleycorn's. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming, and full of classic pub charm—perfect for a relaxed meal or a fun night out with friends.

“I took my mother there I was overly satisfied with the whole experience and the price was up there sorry for the slang is was pricey however it was so worth it overall best experience quality wise and quantity Ten Stars going back soon oh ps the taste OMG the taste was so amazing like I spent a 120 but me and my Mom couldn’t finish and we are both well seasoned seafood eaters we couldn’t finish it cause it was so much food Ten Stars Will Be Returning In Speed Light“

“today kyle and I stopped at rhe vag for a drink after walking along the river to view the fireworks. I was nervous about the 4th, as our current political situation is not favorable, and I didn't want to be around a ton of republicans. turns out, we had a great evening, and became well acquainted with some new friends. also some girl ordered an espresso martini. it looked pretty good but stay in your lane. this is a dive bar. get over yourself and order a mystery beer like everyone else.“

“Sang karaoke , bad thing is a group of tables sit right in front on the floor by the DJ taking up space & when you try & stand there the ppl at the tables are loud & you can't hear yourself singing bc of their drunk loudness & no room for anyone to dance if they cared to . 2 stars for arrangement of the tables . Plenty of customers.

“A great small city "neighborhood" bar. The Owners care about the presentation of the bar so it's always clean and in good shape. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. They know everybody's name and if it's somebody new, they ask. Lots of room to social distance and an outdoor space. Several tv's for sports and two pool tables. It's an easy going place to visit.“

“My girlfriend and I went there yesterday for the first time. She had a cheeseburger and fries and I tried the Crack burger and fries. Both were excellent. We will be back. The lady working the bar was awesome, very friendly and made us feel welcome!! She set the standard for great service and attitude. Great place, had that “hometown” feel.“
