“If you haven't tried Carlos Kitchen And Cater, you need to check it out. They are a family owned business with fantastic food and are some of the nicest people you could meet. I know people who eat there almost weekly because the food is so good, and we've had them cater at our church a few times. They are located at 122 S. Kansas Ave in Newton. Check them out on Facebook... they have weekly specials and a nice variety. I haven't tried their cookies yet, but they caught my eye last night because they are huge and look amazingly delicious!!! Ps. Put your diet on hold and try the tortilla chips with salsa and cheese dip too!”

“Genova Italian Restaurant is AMAZING! The entrees were very well prepared and the fresh homemade rolls were so good we could have eaten all they had. Rosie, the owner is a firecracker of a lady who will make you feel welcome from the first time you enter. Whenever we visit from Florida we will be sure to stop in for a meal and visit Rosie. She made us feel like family!A follow up to my first review. It has been a year and a half since our last trip to Newton and we took our son and daughter-in-law to dinner. Rosie (whom we had only met once before) remembered my wife and I and even what table we sat at the last visit! The food was again excellent and very large portions. Definitely visit Genova Italian Restaurant when in the Newton, Kansas area, you won't regret it.”

“This is such a comfortable, clean shop with endless coffee options. However you like it, ypu can have it.I get a lavender cold brew currently the special is with blueberry cold foam. The foam sits on top of the drink and slowly mixes in to create a sweeter, more flavorful brew.It's so good! Definitely come and visit if you need a quick morning coffe place with great prices.”

“Anna never disappoints!! So delicious! She stayed open for an extra 20 minutes so I could pick up an order for my coworkers and I today. Customer service is off the charts, and her portions have never lacked. Every time I order tacos, I have enough filling to make at least another taco or two, which she accounts for with extra tortillas. If you're in newton and craving street tacos, that's where you need to be.”

“The owners have put so much time and care and thought into this restaurant! The pizzas are delicious, and the beer varieties are pretty good for a small-town place. The coffee shop side has really good treats like breads and cinnamon rolls.It is much more a pizza place that serves beer and wine than a bar that serves pizza. Great place for families!It is gorgeous as a venue!The only reason for 4 star service is it is self-serve, but all the staff are really kind and will clear tables.”

“Absolutely a MUST DRIVE TO NEWTON AND EAT HERE kinda place. Did an impromptu carry out. I was in Newton conducting some business on my way to an event and needed to eat. Pulled up G Maps and dropped Mexican food in. This place was a couple blocks away from my second to last stop. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes. When I finally got to eat I was surprised at the flavor. This is the only place that I have had Carne Asada tacos and the meat was actually seasoned. There is a reason it gets busy!”

The wife and are were a hot mess and we were so welcomed and had such a great time with Rene and the great vibes. The atmosphere was perfect and allowed us to unwind and have a great time. “I Love this place and the people here! I have almost all items on this menu, only one item that is never made correct or good. That would be the ceviche. I get both seafood and shrimp and each time it’s chopped up and can’t see either, and very HIGH PRICED.Does not fit the with all the other items that are just TERRIFIC.But for ceviche that’s made right with a much larger portion of the seafood fully Intact at half the price I CHOOSE DEL PUENTE on main and 6th”

“I love Mojos! Great coffee, great location, great staff. Really quality coffee, craft drinks, good specials. They're bakery case is great, I do miss the biscuits and gravy, but their current offerings are very good with a selection of morning buns, breakfast burritos, muffins and such. They're currently managed by Reverie Roasters out of Wichita so the menu shook up a little bit but the coffee is still great, just a few of the menu items have changed or been replaced. It's located on the Bethel Campus and has a small patio with 3-4 tables and 8-10 inside. Just a really nice little campus and community coffee place!”

“Having grown up in a small town in Oklahoma, Braums was always a staple for me. However, I’ve lived in northwest missouri since I was 13. Unfortunately we don’t have them up here. However, anytime I pass by one I always stop. Today was one of those days. Employees were great! Food was good, although I didn’t really care for their mayonnaise. The shake (mint chocolate chip) was great. However, I’ll never get a large again. When they say large, they mean business. It came out in what I assume to be a 32oz styrofoam cup! Thanks Braums!”
