Even my profile says that I love a good old fashioned dive bar. This, my friends, is such a one. It is a true "beer bar", meaning that it serves no liquor. Yes, Kansas used to have a lot of them! It doesn't have a grill, so I was leery of the bierock on the menu. My suspicions were ill-founded, as it turned out to be very good! Great little stop! The owner is nice as heck! Only 2 beers on tap!?! Coors and Coors Light.. it has been The Tap Room since the '50s. They serve only deep fried and microwave lore... we had fish and chips... it was great!

Owner is awesome. Addicted to his nachos. Always fresh and always served promptly with enough cheese!! Unheard of. Perfect price also. Always polite and extra accommodating. Must try small town treasure!!
