“Small town gem. We ordered double burgers & wow, they’re like 1/2 pounders. The onion rings were yummy too with a cherry limeade. The staff was super helpful friendly to our group of 10.”

“Got caught in a horrible rain storm. Checked in near midnight. Check-in was super quick. Room was clean, comfortable and quaint. Within minutes I had four kids sound asleep dry and safe. Thank You B&B”

“Traveling through, around lunch time we often look for out of the way, hole in the wall, type establishments, as that’s usually where you find the best food. Acosta’s & Nieto’s Cafe did not disappoint! Being from Texas, we had to ask if they had salsa that was hotter and what our waiter brought us was super good! We had the tacos de pastor, and tacos parrilla. Both excellent! If I ever pass through Hugoton again I hope it’s at lunch time, because I would for sure stop again!”

“The steaks were AMAZING! Melt in your mouth tender and delicious. We had both the 6 and the 8oz sizes and they were perfection. Baked potato was well cooked, asparagus was over cooked. The service left a little something to be desired, dirty tables and no mid meal plate pick up. Desserts looked delicious, but they offered them to us before our food had even arrived. Strange thing. Jalapeño poppers were spicy, bacon was undercooked, but good! Bonus points for Bonnie and Clyde newspaper on the menu and themed names for the food was fun. Minus for only the bar section being open at 5pm on a Friday night. I'd recommend stopping! Bonus that we didn't try: Gluten-free buns offered for the burgers!”

“What a quaint little grotto! This Subway is located in a very small building with a very small dining area, reminiscent of a hole in the wall big city diner. The flow of traffic isn't very smooth as the front door opens into basically the end of the serving line, so you have to weave past other customers to get in line to order. The food was good, prepared fresh, and staff was friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Oh yeah, actually I did. Ate there 2 days in a row ?”

“We were very surprised to find such good Chinese food in a small town. Flavors were wonderful. Nice size portions. Only disappointment was that there was no in restaurant seating. Will definitely go back, God willing.”
