Best whiskey bar in all of South East Kansas!!! Amazing bartenders, quality live music, amazing atmosphere and in all a great experience every time!!! Would highly recommend!
Probably one of the best bars I’ve ever been to! (And I’m old) Great atmosphere, music and incredible service! I had the best time there! What I loved most about it was that they have no TVs! A perfect place to relax and listen to some great old school country music!

The Hitching Post is an awesome little bar and a rare gem with a super fun vibe and great atmosphere. It is a very nice place with highly knowledgeable bartenders, often the owner himself. Hospitality is only exceeded by the excellent selection of whiskey, bourbon, and incredible cocktails. Bartenders craft beautiful cocktails like a Smoky Ol Fashioned and an excellent whiskey sour. Staff is friendly, very understanding, and provides great service. It is a must stop for good conversation with cool locals and is highly recommended.
