If you are a fan of Taco Tico and small town personable vibes, this place is perfect! I say Taco Tico because their style and taste is almost identical. To some that means nothing but if you're like me it's awesome! We loved this place and just like my decades long fave, I will visit every time I'm here...for sure! Their fountain Pepsi was super fire as well. Perfectly mixed. 😋

I love a good inexpensive taco. Several times a week this is my lunch go to. Will miss these tacos when I leave Independence. Everything we have tried here is well worth the price. Not fancy but tasty cheap eats. If you are looking to feed the family on a budget - this is your place to go.

This place was my dad’s favorite “go-to” as I grew up. This was our spot for daddy daughter dates. Owners changed, name changed but still awesome food and service. Now I bring my kiddos but my favorite is still meat and cheese nachos. So good!

What I want to know is ..why is this place so cold? I had to go get my coat out of the car just to finish my meal. I understand maybe the employees get hot, but I can't bring my mom or aunt to eat because Everytime they mention how cold this place is. So sad. The food is good.
