“This place is amazing! We are from out of state and in town for a special event. We sat at the counter and truly enjoyed watching the cooks working in rhythm. The foods was amazing!!! Biscuit were soft and tall. Grits were done right. Fancy hash browns were worth it. Eggs were perfectly over easy!!!! Highly recommend! We WILL eat here again when we are in the area. I cannot praise this place enough.”

“A longtime favorite for breakfast, coffee, and lunch! Have not had anything bad. Today’s meal is pictured. Raspberry Orange Scones are made every Saturday, get there early if you want to have one. The sausage provolone quiche was a new one for me of the quiches. Just as good as all the others. Coffee was Double Nut, new one for me, nice smooth light roast. A friend ordered the London Fog and mentioned she has not found a better one anywhere else. Great place to meet friends and catch up.”

“Amazingly flavorful! We had a mac attack potato w/ chicken, a giant baked potato w/ brisket, and a one meat dinner w/ pulled pork and smokey beans & potato salad. Everyone raved about it. We will be back when we’re in McPherson again!”

“food is AMAZING! The onion ring, green beans and the chicken fried steak are delish. Service is very hot and cold. Drove up from out of town a few weeks ago, the young man was prompt,friendly and even recommended his favorites. Went again last night, 3 servers with only 3 tables of people (2 tops) and still waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server, which we had to ask for. She appeared only to take our order, deliver food and deliver check. Never offered refills or checked on us at all. Waitresses passed us several times and not one acknowledged a table that wasn't their own. The waitress to which whom we asked who our server was, was quite unfriendly. It wasn't a good experience. I will return because the food is that good but they need some service skills to fill that place up.”

“Talon at 30th Street Dillons is going places. Super nice, polite and helpful young man. He was running a register, an older lady was checking out in front of me and he wanted to make sure she knew of the sales on some of the items she had when checking out. He pleasantly invited simple conversation without being intrusive. He was also keeping up with checking out our items and bagging without the sometimes obvious annoyance. It was rather nice having someone in that position who wasn't mumbling under their breath, who was offering real customer service. Great job sir. I do hope your employer appreciates you just as much.”

“A small town bar with a heated outdoor area. The staff are very friendly, they grill outside twice a week and have a buffet on those days. Nothing fancy but very friendly.”
