I had never eaten there until last night. They opened for us( about 45) and did a great job. First of all the place is spotless. The food was good to very good. We had a buffet with pork, beef, salad, potatoes, beans, corn and rolls. The cheesy potatoes and rolls were especially good. Everything was hot and the salad was fresh and crisp. Knackies was REALLY there for our family in our time of need. Our family needed a place to gather together after we said our final goodbyes to my wonderful Great Aunt. All of us were from out of town, many from out of state, and my Cousin was having a very difficult time arranging all of this from Illinois-especially because of COVID. Awesome BBQ in a family friendly environment. Small town feel where they always know our name when we walk in the door. Often little extras are included such as deserts handed out at the tables and their salads are always fresh and crisp. We miss the buffet but it's still the same great food!
