Most delish pizza we’ve had in a long while! Got off a long flight at KCI just now & decided we had a hankering for amazing pizza—& this was just what we found! Excellent, friendly service, fresh & tasty salad, & truly awesome, wood-fired pizza! Top-notch, fresh ingredients! We have no pizza even close to this in Topeka—we’ll be back! Thank you!

Hey....You....Mr. & Mrs. Boujie... or partnered Boujie's...This place is the ultimate high-end pizzeria. Have you ever wanted fresh hand-made dough?!?!Have you wanted that dough topped with such high-end ingredients that it almost feels like a sin eating it?!?!These pizzas, gelato and other rabbit foods made me feel like paparazzi were waiting outside to film me as I exited the building. From top notch BBQ pork, to black truffle oil, these neopoliton style pizzas will melt your senses.Wood fired ovens cook the dough to a crispy crust only equal to a fresh pair of J's on the feet. Buuuuut, don't stop at the pies, they Ave some of the best bruschetta I have encountered this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Beers are available on tap as well as in the bottle, and of you're too boujie for beer.... have no fear they have some delicious bottles of vinegar to wet that tongue. This place is soooooo fancy they don't give you the 'za on a pan......hell no.... they serve them crispy crusted delicacies on porcelain platters that remind me of Peter Luger's Steakhouse.10/10 be proper and take a date here if you wanna impress her to undress her.I'd take a date here if I could get one, but sadly my dates are attached to my wrists and fed me my pizza and bruschetta.Food pictured is the fantastic bruschetta drizzled in the finest olive oil, and the Prized Pig. That 3rd pic is just a cheese pull for y'all.Wonderful souls cooked a delicious meal for me when I was on only 3 hours of sleep, the food had me hoppin' like a frog for the rest of the day!!!

Solid Neapolitan pizza! We used to drive into KC for the certified Neapolitan pizza but I think the dough at 1889 is better.

We've lived over here for like 6 years and somehow never tried this place. Wandered in on a whim during an unexpected warm snap in the dead of winter.... and just fell in love with it! a yummy pizza and salad fed a hungry couple, and I didn't catch the name of the hostess with the mostest, but the lady working the register and waiting tables was killing it on a busy Friday night. Will be back.

This restaurant had the potential to be 5 stars, but I am giving a 2 because of the poor service that my friend and I received.Overall, the restaurant week menu was a great deal. My friend and I tried the pasta trio entree. I asked a worker if they were doing the plate refills of your favorite choice of pasta and he confirmed that they were. Since we were full, we asked if we could get our pasta refills to go.The woman who went to refill our pastas took an insanely long time and we eventually went to the front to check on it. We were given a sad tub filled about a quarter of the way. We were extremely disappointed to be skimped out (my friend didn't even get a serving). If they didn't want to give us additional food, then why bother offering it on the restaurant week menu? It literally states, "(refill your plate with the pasta you enjoyed most!)".Aside from that, my friend and I noticed that the woman who was serving had checked in with everyone around us EXCEPT for us. She went above and beyond with our surrounding tables, checking in with them, asking how the food was, if they needed anything, etc. and we received nothing. Nobody checked in on us. Anytime we needed something, we had to go out of our way to grab someone at the front of the restaurant.Additionally, I noticed that a pair of customers that arrived after my friend and I, sat down next to us and ordered the restaurant week special as well. After setting down their salad, their server said, "I'll get you guys your silverware and plates!" My friend and I had to go grab it ourselves. I understand if grabbing your own plates and silverware is the norm here, but it was the fact that we were treated differently. You pay for your food and tip before you sit down and eat and my friend and I honestly regretted tipping the standard amount after experiencing all of this. Just beware! You might want to hold off on tipping and bring some cash in case you receive no/poor service like we did.

My family and I recently had an incredible dining experience at 1889 Pizza Napoletana. The warm and inviting atmosphere greeted us as we entered, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The impeccable service, marked by friendly and knowledgeable staff, made us feel truly at home. Our server's recommendations added a personal touch to the evening. Pizza is fantastic if a bit under seasoned. Get the honeybee. Erica and Liz run the world and handled a two hour line like nobody’s business with a smile.

Enjoyed my first visit here today. I was surprised when I arrived that you order at the counter. The menu was kind of hard to read and in small font. However, the food was great. Small chopped salad was good to split for two. The bruschetta was tasty and free thanks to Yelp. Tricolore pizza was excellent with pesto sauce and a unique pepper that was delicious. The crust was perfect. The wine on tap was excellent and the cashier was very friendly. The pizza size is a bit too much for one but not enough for two hungry eaters. I will definitely be back.
