“Took a lady on a first date and chose this because we were walking the area. The food was great and we drew our server as Javad was super attentive, even while training. The only downside was the level of music while trying to talk across the table. I’m sure if I’d have though to bring it up to our server, he would have handled that for us as well.“

“I thought the food was fantastic, only downside is that it is a little costly for the food given. We got 1 potato and 1 corn per bag. We’re used to a heaping at other places but overall favor was great. Crab was cooked perfectly and each snap gave us big piece pulls.“

“If you want some of the best seafood in our area and if you want the best Alfredo you’ve ever tasted in your entire life I suggest you go to seafood island. We went just last night and our service was amazing, Joe was our waiter and he was so attentive, fun, and always there to bring us a refill or see how we were enjoying our food. I had the fried calamari and the Cajun shrimp fried rice, there had to have been over 10 huge super fresh shrimp on my plate, the portion size was so big that I have enough leftovers for another meal today. “We had Dukes Place out at our Monticello Neighborhood in Lees Summit and have to say it was one of the Best trucks we have ever had!! To put simply..Delicious authentic New Orleans Street food cuisine is in our neighborhood. I couldn’t put down the Jumbaleye(?), ridiculously good with perfect amount of tomatoes dissolved in the rue broth, with chunks of fresh shrimp, white rice making up a great deal of texture and then anduili sausage slices served HOT and then perfectly warm when you eat it. The fried chicken tenders and fried okra with fries were all great. Plus they have their own special sauce that amps up the flavor even more to go with everything perfectly seasoned. “Crazy good food at the Crazy Crab! Easy to get to mid town location with plenty of parking. We went for a late lunch so no wait- and ordered the Seafood Combo #1- 1/2 Snow Crab, 1/2 shrimp - Cajun medium and garlic butter. It’s all steamed in a huge bag and comes with tender potatoes, juicy corn and a boiled egg- price point was good for the amount of food you get. I had to take some home.“
