Very welcoming! I was visiting KC from Dallas over the weekend. My phone died while I was at the Slaps and I needed to uber to the airport, so stopped in Chicago's for a drink and a charge. It can be awkward going into a neighborhood bar when you aren't local but the bartender (I think his name is Kyle) was very warm and welcoming! Reasonably priced too, especially compared to Dallas bars!

When we arrived at the place there was no staff at the bar to serve us and when they served us the barista asked us for a tip for every 2 beers, the tip is not required, you earn for the good service it looked very bad and I never want to go back there

This is a fun and easy to miss corner bar. It's aptply named Chicago's as every element of that establishment is evocative of Chicago. It comes complete with the gasoline referred to as Malört and, as a rare treat, Green Chartreuse.
