Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We're here for just a few days and this was our first stop after arriving. We give 5 stars to this restaurant because they are what they advertise themselves to be.

They offer a warm atmosphere, a unique shopping experience and homestyle cooking. We enjoyed the chicken and biscuits best and looking around in the country store afterwards. We particularly liked the uncommon find of a selection of old fashioned candy sticks, clover and blackjack chewing gums, and Reeds butterscotch. This was a friendly, welcoming place.

Mostly been having a cracker barrel for a while on my Google wish list that was the one that I went to was on my wish list and originated I was going for like the chicken dumplings since the other things that looks really good especially the chicken dippers that are really like chicken strips with steak fries and it's a new menu item that actually comes with two sides had mine with steak fries and mac and cheese and had the two dipping sauces ranch and country comeback sauce and the chicken strips seemed really were frozen not really that big and the steak fries where good and fresh and are server was good other than forgot the apple butter for biscuits and cornbread and also the biscuits that seemed stale and also has a gift shop what those places are known for got a orange soda scented candle and 3 bottles of soda so far. Mostly some place to stop if you want to go to a Cracker barrel.

We had a large group for lunch on a Saturday, Karlee our server was amazing, very friendly, very helpful. She did a great job managing such a large group.

Ok, hello! Love this place, the food is fire 🔥. Perfect place to eat on these cold days, very much a comfort food restaurant! I almost forgot, it has a gift shop, very cute things to buy, not expensive. So go, take the family, the grandparents will love this place..eat, shop and be happy!

I got a gift certificate for Christmas! I went there on a Tuesday! The chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and Macaroni & cheese was great! I went back on Sunday and had the rainbow trout, macaroni & cheese, and mashed potatoes...it was excellent!!!
Service was fast!

Food was mediocre. The biscuits were rock hard, coleslaw did not have any flavor. And the veggies were cold. The Chicken and dumplings were great.

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables but no idea if they are made using vegetarian broth.

Had the NY strip in person, was very impressed. Ordered it to go, was filled with gristle and overcooked. Tried again yesterday… same issue. Filled with gristle and fat. I thought the NY strips they were serving were quality cuts but seems like I was just lucky once.
